There is nothing quite like spending the night in a tipi. It's unique design is remarkable, and the history behind it can send chills up and down your spine.
But the tipi is far more than just a romantic oddity. It is one of the most sound designs in the history of man-made shelters. The very shape of the tipi makes it one of the soundest designs against the wind and the rain. It is very roomy yet it can be pitched by one person if necessary. The liner makes for good ventilation in hot summer weather while providing the draft for a fire during the winter months.
These tipis are Sioux in design but with an extra flap at the bottom of the smoke flap, Cheyenne style for better protection in inclement weather.

We supply the best poles available. As with any pole, it's a good idea to treat them with a good preservative. Consider ordering an extra pole for a future replacement. All poles are drop shipped directly to you, freight collect via truck. A set of poles costs anywhere from $200 to $550 to ship. Please allow 6 - 8 weeks for delivery. Check with us for details.
NOTE: Many truck lines refuse to haul poles longer than 27', so you may not be able to get the longer poles! One way to still have a BIG tipi is to have us "bob the ends" We can cut off the skinny end to shorten your poles to 27' and you can use these poles for up to a 22' tipi. This leaves very little taper to your poles, but it will still give you the strength you'll need for a larger tipi. You still must pay for the longer pole, we just cut the top off so that it can ship via truck and still be strong enough for the larger tipi.
