Tentage from the Medieval Era

Nothing quite captures the pageantry and festive atmosphere of the Middle Ages and Renaissance like an authentic pavilion. When you enter one you are instantly transported to an era of chivalry and nobility, of tournaments, courts and kingdoms.

The Round Pavilion

medeival round pavilion.jpg (10656 bytes)This stunning pavilion is a round version of a marquee. Most of these were decorated with all types of striping and designs in medieval days (not included). This style of tent goes up more rigidly using perimeter poles around the eave, and our set-up package includes them. Because we make this tent with a high peak, it is possible to erect it with just the center pole and some extra long ropes  (no perimeter poles), if you wish. The ropes in our set-up package are for perimeter pole set-up.

The pavilion comes with two piece detachable curtains that overlap and tie inside and out.  This means that you can have two doorways opposite each other for cool breezes in summertime! Choose from among the 8 scallop designs of the marquee tent. Slant walls that flare out approximately 1' on all sides are available for $62.00

The Regent Pavilion

regpavtent.jpg (15499 bytes)A very popular style throughout the ages, the Regent is fabulous for an average sized family with gear. It sets up with one center pole and four corner poles. Walls are 6' high.

The roof portion is square while the base of the slanted walls is an octagon. This gives you LOTS OF ROOM without having to cart around all those poles.

The Regent is a one piece tent, made with two doorways to give you plenty of ventilation on hot days.

A separate canopy fly can be added to increase your outside socializing area. It is similar in design to our dining fly, with the added feature of snaps & D Rings to attach above the door of this tent. It extends 12" from the eave of your tent and uses two poles at the front edge of the fly and a central prop pole to provide slope for rain. All 3 of these poles, as well as ropes & stakes are included in the set-up package for the Canopy Fly.

You can choose from among the 8 standard scallops styles available.
